Anklewearing Heart rate

I work at a hospital and can't/aren't allowed to wear anything on my wrists. Therefore I wanted to try and wear my Blaze on my ankle. I want to get a accurate HR over the entire day, and not miss 9h/day of HR.
Does anyone have any experience with that?

Hi @Baconhug,

Not sure with a Blaze, but some have done it with other fitbits. It's a matter of having a band that's long enough, or buy a band extender. And if it feels comfortable, which for me it never did.

The fitbit is designed to be worn on the wrist, so it's possible you'd affect step accuracy by wearing it on the ankle. But if the HR signal is good, you'd have calorie counts throughout the day.

Thank you for the reply!

I've worn the Blaze on my ankle at work for 1 week now. And the biggest difference is that the heartrate is unreliable when walking longer distants. During rest/short distances, it works fine! The steps are recorded as they should.
