Anyone use a blaze for outdoor biking?

I have brought a charge 2, but it adds steps when I use my bike, about 1000 every ten mins, I'm not a cheat so I don't want it racking my step count up, my mate at work has a blaze and says his doesn't add steps, if anyone else can confirm this I will go and get a blaze instead

thanks, Ross

Hello @Rosco1986, I'm not sure if I understand completely, does your mate ride a bike at work?

As for steps on a bike, they come from the  bouncing of the handlebars as the wheels go over bumps and holes.

If you mate is riding on a smooth surface then yes he will get few steps if any.

My blaze does not track steps when I go biking.

Unfortunately my Blaze does count steps while I cycle as well.

Do you switch the exercise to bike before you start?  The only time I experienced it calculation steps is when I don't switch the mode to bike under excercise on my watch. Try it and see what happens

He does downhill mountain biking so its really bumpy and yet still counts no steps
