I'm not sure if it's a syncing issue, because when I sync the amount of steps and heart rate are the same on both the app and my Fitbit. But for example on my Fitbit it says I've been active for four consecutive hours and on the app it doesn't say that.

Do you have an Android phone? 

This is currently being discussed in the Android forum, and has been mentioned that the developers are looking into the cause. 

Since it is not consistent or affects everyone, it might take a while  to fix.
