Assault bike logging

I use an assault bike indoors (for those unaware, think of a sitting elliptical; feet pedaling and arms moving) I want to track it properly. It's more than just stationary biking. How do/would you guys track this? Workout, bike, elliptical? Thank you! Just bought my Blaze last night and excited to use it!

Hello @Mjs2007 as for your tracker, i would suggest spinning, not knowing anything about the unit, if it is more like an elyptical machine you could use that.

Now if the Assault is a connected device, maybe you would entertain asking them to connect up with Fitbit. They would be able then to send your workouts directly to your Fitbit account.

Another thing to check woukd be IFTTT they might have a script to do this.

Oh, spinning and Bike is basically the same, with the exception of the GPS.

Just bought Fitbit Active 2. Workout on Schwinn Airdyne assault bike. Would like if possible to get the beast readout from the Fitbit Active 2.

Should I set it to spinning?

Isn't the Active 2 a Samsung watch?

It looks that way @MarkMM. @Teknodad Fitbit doesn't have an active 2? We do have a versa 2.

I usually just put it in as a tabata workout when i get back from the gym. You put the time in and duration so i take a picture before and after of the setup. My watch then takes my heart rate at the time. The calories and heart rate are a little off i think since the assault bike is so hard, i feel like Im doing way more than it says. But its a good way to track what workouts you're doing if you are not too concerned about your calorie output.

Hi Matey,
I do a Schwinn Assault Bike workout every two days. I run the 60/60 workout
which is 10 minutes, as part of a fifty minute variety of exercises.
Each 60 secs I change from sitting to standing, & do two 60 secs with just
arms.
The Calorie readout I go for is anything in the 170's, my best is 175 Cals.
I have done a lot of training over some six decades, & I think the Assault
Bike is one of the best bits of kit I've used.
Regards Lawrence.
