Awesome app to receive the notifications that you want!

Download Bitticker from the google play store. It is 99 cents and allows you to get ANY notifications from your phone to your Blaze! I haven't used it a lot yet, but it seems to work well.

It still works for the Blaze, Alta, and Surge. The Charge HR is no longer supported. I enabled instagram, facebook messenger, and email, and they came through for me. It also allowed me to see ALL of my text messages instead of having them grouped and shown as '3 new messages'.

@AdamMSC is correct, bitTicker will still work for Surge, Blaze, and Alta.

I think the common misconception is that we shut down bitTicker intentionally. The way bitTicker built their app relied heavily on an existing bug in our Fitbit Android app. The specific bug was outbound call notifications, meaning users would be notified when they were making a phone call. Our Android team fixed this bug, and consequently, it caused some of bitTicker's functionality to stop working.

For those that want to see Fitbit implement more notifications natively, I'd suggest giving some love to this Feature Request about more notifications! In the meantime, you can still enjoy bitTicker with Blaze. Robot Very Happy
