I have just started riding a bike but the Blaze does not record distance covered, speed and other data except for calories burnt and time elapsed.

Welcome to the forums!
Biking is not step based so its not going to be accurate. Some people will put it in their pants pocket to get more steps. But again its not step based so dont except accuracy
Hope to see you around!

Hi there @SAUMEN, welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums!
I'm very sorry to hear that you're having problems with your Blaze not showing some data. I'd like to help you out with this.
Adding to what @WendyB said, I'd like you to know that there are two ways of tracking your activity with your Blaze. The first one is by letting it automatically recognize your activity. This is called SmartTrack. If you're using this feature, it will not give you information as distance or pace for example.
If you'd like this information to show up, you can track your bike ride from your tracker directly. For this, swipe to the Exercise shortcuts screen, tap on it and look for Biking. If it doesn't show up there, you can go into the Fitbit app, tap on the icon of your tracker and then, go to Exercise shortcuts. Here you can choose which exercises you want to have on your tracker.
