BLAZE cannot accurately calculate arms and legs movements at the same time! :(

I am still on the continual mission of trying to get my Blaze to accurately record my steps -- it robs me of 20-50% each time I try to capture them.

Today my husband suggested I walk 20 steps without moving my arms at ALL and it was TOTALLY ACCURATE!

Then I stood still on the spot without moving my feet at all and swung my arms 20 times -- again it recorded 20 steps!

It seems to be unable to calculate normal walking.

Any ideas how to resolve this issue?  (I don't really want to have to walk with my arms pinned to my side all the time lol). Cat Frustrated

I don't believe there is a solution to this problem for any Fitbit that is worn as a watch.

I experienced the same things.  In the winter time, I walk with my hands in my coat pockets and the steps are recorded perfectly.  If I just sit and watch TV, steps are recorded whenever I move my arms.  My wife told me a friend of hers put on a 1/2 mile on her Fitbit while sitting and knitting Man Very Happy

I previously owned a Fitbit One, which clips on to a belt or pocket.  Steps were recorded accurately and hand movements (while not walking) were NOT recorded.

My recommendation:  for better accuracy, take the watch off when you're not moving around.  Or get a Fitbit that is not worn as a  watch.
