BLAZE pausing during a workout

When setting my Blaze for a workout and my sleeve catches it it pauses.  Obviously I do not notice and carry on which frustrates the life out of me.  Not only that because its paused it doesn't recognise that I am still working out so the auto kick in to track doesn't work either even though my heart rate is sky high. The weather is getting cold now and I need to wear a top layer running, we need a screen lock urgently as running for 1 hour and getting nothing back is annoying.  I've even tried setting it and putting a sweatband over the watch to see if the exercise continues but that's no good either.  I have updated switched on switched off removed the app put it back on reset and still no good.  Has anyone come up with an alternative yet???

Hey there @SamRob47. Welcome to the Fitbit Community familyl! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your workouts getting paused because of your sleeve.

I've seen some of these scenarios before and what I can recommend would be for you to wear your tracker on the inside of your wrist. That way, the sleeve will not get in the way (or at least this has helped other users) and your workouts will not get paused. The sweatband is also a great idea... it's strange it hasn't helped very much but give wearing it this other way a try and see if there's any difference.

Let me know how it goes!

Sweatband and under wrist no good 2 workouts worn both ways and again a paused watch and no auto recognition due to elevated heart rate.  So dissatisfied it’s just too sensitive. Funny how once it’s paused it doesn’t unpause the same way and start up again !!!
