I have noticed that many times the BPM has flatline.  Any response on why this occurs?

When I first got my Fitbit I noticed a flatline every now and again during a run; I tightened the band down one notch and the issue completely went away (and that was over a year ago).

@anthemlarry, what @shipo is saying is that it flat lines when it can not detect a heart rate. Try a little different way of wearing, experimenting in tightness and or position, however position is not easy to change. Sim have found moving it a little away from the wrist helps. Here is the heart rate Faq , and the Blaze101 guide has info on wearing
