I would like to pre-order the Blaze. I will switch to the Blaze from the Surge. With the Surge I wear a large and I loosely fasten it in hole 4 or 5.
I notice that the band sizing chart of the Blaze is different from the Surge. So will I need to order a Large for the Blaze?

Some are saying they will get smaller.
Measure your wrist and check out the chart again to see which will be a better fit.

I woud say you're safe with the Blaze in a size L @IsmeneP.
I've also made the transition from using a Surge to a Blaze, and it's pretty similar to me. My wrists are pretty small for an adult, and I wear the size L on the tightest settings on both the Surge and Blaze.

@EmersonFitbit That doesn't give me the warm fuzzies about the specs. (Unless your Blaze is a pre-production one that doesn't have the size of band that will ship in March.)
The reason I say this is that the specs shows the large Surge smallest hole being 6.3" while the large Blaze shows the smallest hole being 6.7". That is a difference of 0.4" which is a lot. So unless the Surge is cutting off your circulation, and the Blaze just bounces around on your wrist something is wrong. (I printed the sizing guides and it clearly shows a significant difference between the two.)

Very true @Michael. What I should've said was I wear the both of them at amongst the tightest settings- and both seem pretty similar to me. I think what I'm trying to say is that within a Fitbit context, both sizes are pretty similar.

Hello @atxscar thanks for sharing your experience. Yes the frame and device are the same size the only variation is the length of the wristband.
Hope to see you around more often! ![]()
