Why is it that every single time I scan a bar code it comes up with 'sorry we can't find that item'? I've even tried very basis stuff. Also what actually is a 'serving '? This is so frustrating.

With what device are you using to scan the barcodes with? Your question about the app was posted.

I live in Australia and I have the same issue. Even though the App has the option, the barcode function only works in the U.S.A. The Fitbit team's feedback was that if "enough people complain then maybe the Aussie App will get the feature as well". I have serious Apple Watch envy when it comes to logging food. Fitbit is miles behind in this regard.

Thank you . Had I known that I wouldn't have purchased the bloody thing. It's calculations are wrong as well, is there anything that works properly on it?
thank you again

A warm welcome to the Community @Poppy143, @Rich_Laue, @JamesDeysel and @Endomorphius thanks for stopping by.
I know that it would be great to make more improvements for the Blaze and the Fitbit. I recommend taking a look at the Barcode Scanning for International Food Databases request, vote for it and leave your comment. If you are in the in USA, please check that your phone is a compatible mobile device, if it is, please provide me more information about it. Also, if you would like to share more ideas, feel free to visit our feature suggestions board.
Catch you later.

I thought this was a basic use of Fitbit wherever it was bought! No different to buying a mobile and not being able to make a call. Come on Fitbit you need to give customers that have purchased this piece of equipment (me) what they paid for! They are not cheap and I expect to be able to use every part of the app

Same here, I'm in Sydney and cannot read any barcode. Even the spark people app at least allows you to add food to the database!!!

Huh ofcourse your fitbFit can't scan products. Only the app can with US products and when you use the US settings. Still I don't understand why FitBit don't use global products or let you add your own barcodes. Btw fitatu works great with scanning other products from the world
