Will Fitbit change the battery if I pay for the same, for a tracker which is past the 1 year warranty period? Or is the tracker pretty much useless after the warranty?
The current tracker Charge HR Tracker is fine now battery wise, but got bubbled up. The strap looks ugly now. It is out of warranty & I'm planning to get Blaze. Wondering how future proof the Blaze will be.

The battery on the Blaze is not changeable. However with proper care I am guessing it will give several years life. For modern lithium ion type batteries (such as used in Fitbits) the best advice is to avoid deep discharge wherever possible, That will give it the longest life.
As you have noted, the band is changeable on the Blaze, so that will definitely help with "furture proofing". I am sure you will love your new Blaze.

Yeah, I know how how the Li-Po and Li-Ion batteries work, I make sure that I charge the trackers as soon as they go half or low. I too agree that Blaze will last long enough & it will pay for itself over the years; for all it does for me.
Nice point, perhaps I can have the band and just get a new module in the future? That'd be awesome!
