Smiley SadNot too happy today after talking with customer service about issue with Fitbit battery. Offered discount for me to buy new one after 16 months of use.  Was very loyal to Fitbit and used daily but will not buy another product. Offered 25% discount is insulting  when you pay almost $300 for it to work for 16 months of use. The fact that this is happening to many people tells me there is a flaw.   Very unhappy with Fitbit right now.

A warm welcome to the Community @ChadmckinneySC.

It's great to hear that you received a 25% discount, if I am not wrong you can use that discount to purchase any other Fitbit device (except the new units), you can take a look at this page, where you will be able to compare all the trackers. Maybe there is one that meet your needs.

Catch you later. Woman Happy

I think you missed the fact that I will not buy another Fitbit product. Not happy with the fact that I invested money into a product that I was a loyal customer and now is not working 16 months later and the best offer is a discount purchasing a new ( old model).  IMO when you invest this much on a product it should last longer then 16 months and I will go to a different product that will last longer.  Thank you for trying to be positive but the quality is not there.

I guess the market concurs, this copied from stock comments:

Fitbit (NYSE: FIT) has had a tough go of it lately. The fitness tracker wearables manufacturer posted negative revenue growth in Q1-2018 of 17%, widening losses, and declared its transition
year has been extended into a multi-year transformational effort. It would not be a surprise if even die-hard investors were getting impatient with the stock down over 80% since its IPO in June 2015.

I am guessing this will continue until they start looking after their installed base; a 25% discount on a new unit is not the kind of 'incentive' that will please customers.
