Biking miles correlate to steps? Confused.

Does anybody know how Fitbit handles biking miles. Does it convert to steps? Thx

If you want steps then do not start bike mode. Then put in pocket or wear on ankle, you'll get more steps but no map.

Nope, the only steps you'll receive are from the bouncing over bumps
