If I move my wrist just right, or bump my wrist, the band on my Blaze pops out. Tonight I was changing sheets, and it did it again, only this time the entire Blaze and band fell behind my bed. Frustrating.
Any ideas out there that my fix this problem?
I have ordered a large band to see if that will help.
Thank you
KC

Thanks. I think it might be worth a call to support. You never know. I retraced the steps but I live in Manhattan and had to look at 14 really populated blocks. I imagine someone will enjoy it and hope they get good use from it.

Sometimes an app like the Bitfinder is helpful. But some will pick up every Fitbit around.
Bitfinder on Android has the ability to identify the Fitbits that are paired to the phone, sometimes even telling me the last known location that it knows of.
These apps will at least two you when your getting close to a Fitbit of the model your looking for.

Thank you so much for suggesting the video! I figured out how it was SUPPOSED to work, but it didn't occur to me to unhook the strap(so that it is two different pieces) and seeing it on the video made all the difference. 🙂

@Davis The same thing happened to me 2 days ago. My first fitbit purchase was a flex. I lost it when the band came off and was too annoyed to buy another. For my birthday I got a blaze as a gift to replace it and all was well until Friday when I was throwing a football around and the band became detached twice in a span on 5 minutes. This was'nt real football, we were just throwing it around, but it all it took was a flick of my wrist for the band to come off. When I got home I detached and carefully re-attached the band and went out for the night. Later that night I went to check for my steps and it was gone. It is so frustrating to spend hundreds of dollars just to lose the technology over the accesory. Fitbit was incredibly gracious and decided to replace it for me. But now i'm afraid to wear when running or playing a sport or dancing..which begs the point, whats the point of owning a fitness tracker I cant wear when practicing fitness? For my birthday present I was first bought an apple smartwatch and asked my boyfriend to return it because I love fitbit and thought it was way more useful. I just hope they can develop more secure attachments for the bands. I'd give up the ability to interchange bands if it meant it would never come off. Maybe offer an un-detachable option for each type of tracker? Also, I had chosen the Blaze because i misunderstood the advertising and thought the blaze had gps. So i thought it could somehow be located if lost. Again, I clearly misunderstood; the Blaze does NOT have GPS, only the Surge does. The Blaze simply connects to your phone's gps and uses that to map your runs. The Surge is only $20 more than the Blaze if you buy the black Blaze, which is the one I had. To those still shopping, i think thats $20 well spent. I am very grateful to fitbit for their generosity but I hope they will work on the bands to make them more secure.

@Nimo just for info: even though the Surge has built-in GPS it can no more be tracked than the Blaze which uses your phone's GPS

@Davis thanks for the update, I know our support team rocks! @Nimo welcome to the Fitbit Community, thanks for sharing your experience, I've had my Blaze for 6 months and I haven't had any issue with the wristband. My suggestion is to make sure the pins are in perfect conditions and they are properly placed to secure the tracker, if you notice something is loose don't hesitate to contact our support team for assistance. @SteveH thanks for your cooperation. 🙂

Mine does the same thing. it's not that the bands are put on wrong it is a bad design. The pins are too short and not stiff enough. they are designed for easy change not for durability or long life. mine come off multiple times a day. Once I loose it; because it is inevitable since it falls off so easily; I will look at a Garmin they seem a lot more durable.

I agree that a fixed band suits an active fitness tracking lifestyle.
Strength and integrity must come before accessorising.
Perhaps the Surge / Charge 2 is superior in this regard? However they don't look as good/watchie, plus I don't want rubber-band-bubble-peel issues

I endes up upgrading to the Blaze which beleive it or not also fell off. Having soent $400 including accessories on it, I was done with fitbit but the customer service team agrees to replace it. I really like the fitbit product and the app but one cant keep flushing money down the drain. The part that clicks when you replace the Blaze band is equally weakly constructed so it is possible for it to fall off. Mine happened when i was just tossing a football around. If fitbit could focus on durability rather than accessorizing as you stated, there would be no market share for competitors.

I am having the exact problem! I'm about to call customer service and see how I return this product. I received my Blaze exactly two weeks ago and it has come off at least 10 times. It's very difficult and takes at least five minutes to get the band back on again. I'm becoming very frustrated. I've read people's replies that say maybe I don't have the pins in place. The pins are completely in place. I was at the gym it fell off thankfully I saw the green light flashing. In bed I just roll over and it comes off. I was taking something out of my purse and popped off. I'm about to return it and get the Apple watch instead.

Once the band is connected a simple tug to the band should confirm.
Are you wearing the tracker too tight? At least onr finger should eaaily slide in behind the band.
