Blaze Battery life

I have only had my Blaze for just under two weeks and have already notices that it does not hold a charge as long as it should and is reported to.  Before I went to sleep last night it reported that it was at a 50% charge, I checked when I got to work today and now it reports that it has a low batter.  How does it lose that much battery life over night?  My Blaze will most likely die before I even make it half way through my day today and will not accurately track my gym visit tonight.  It is very disappointing that a full charge (I charged it overnight on Friday into Saturday) doesn't even last three full days.  Do any of you notice this issue? @Aclobos

Don't do it. Then you'll be complaining about how the time is off. Best to leave it on completely. I do that. I've never had an issue.

Good call there @Driver8666.

@Aclobos, with the latest firmware update for the Fitbit Blaze, if you turn off your tracker, you need to make sure you sync it upon turning it on again to ensure the time and activity tracking depending on the time as well will be correct.

Yeah I found out the first day when I first started shutting down  my blaze and I left the house with out syncing my blaze, to top it off I forgot my phone at home. If would be nice if Fitbit would get the blaze to keep the clock active when you do a shutdown. Not good when you depend on your watch for all those appointments and everyday activity.

I totally understand @Aclobos 😕

In the past it would work like that but for some reason that changed on the latest update. Hopefully we can see this to revert back to what it was before but we'll have to wait and see.

Anything else, let me know!

I decided to keep my Blaze because I like the watch, and had already invested in new straps etc, plus a new charger while away from home.

Having persevered for several weeks now with the syncing (not resolved as yet!), and living with the sync issues, I now find I'm not even getting 24 hours from the battery.

Not happy at all about this, despite not using GPS tracking, or anything which would drain the battery that I'm aware of. I sync once or twice a day to an old computer which should, by rights, be too old to work with the app. But there ya go.

I'm not prepared to turn it off overnight because the main reason I bought it was for the sleep tracking.

And yes, everything suggested in the 'solution' post is in place except the heart rate monitor.

I've been prepared to put up with the substandard app, but the battery life might just be the last straw.
