Blaze Battery "Full," Dies Within Seconds Off Charger

Hi,

I have a FitBit Blaze I bought a few years ago that is no longer holding a charge. I have tried resetting it, cleaning the contacts, and yes, it's plugged into a computer for charging. It functions fine when it's in its charger, but within 10 seconds of taking it out, the screen goes dark and it won't respond to anything. I then put it back on the charger and it reads as full battery.

Clearly something is wrong here, but I've run out of ideas and every thread I've found in this forum just says to do the above things (which never seem to help) and then forwards the user off to support, where maybe their issue gets resolved? Or maybe not. People don't seem to comment in those threads one way or another after they're forwarded onto support.

You have done everything you can.

The batteries do not last forever and it sounds like yours is done with.
