Blaze Battery went from lasting 5 days to 8 hours

My Blaze is suddenly having severe battery issues. Just a few weeks ago I was getting close to five days of battery life out of it. Now it doesn't even last 8 hours. I've tried all the solutions i've found posted multiple times (cleaning the charge contacts, restarting the blaze, deleting and reinstalling the fitbit app, removing and resetting up the blaze). The Blaze will tell me the battery is full. Then I reset it (left button and bottom right button) and when it turns back on it will say the battery is empty. Then, after five minutes on the charger, it will tell me it is full again. But if I reset it, it will again say its empty. I've tried charging it for hours and it still does the same thing. I've let it charge all night, then wear it in the morning and it will be dead around 2pm. I love my fitbit blaze, but now it is unusable. I'm hoping there is a solution, but if not I hardly see how it could be worth spending $200 on a watch that only lasts two years. I appreciate any and all help, Thanks!

got the same problem, went to the chat room and very helpful, told me to charge it fully, than sync it 5 or 6 times until it died, which took 5 or 6 hours.  Got back to the chat and they determined it was a bad battery and they had no fix for it, Spent $200, 15 months ago now its useless, maybe try a battery replacement myself.  I liked the Blaze a lot, it has kept me motivated getting back in shape since i had the stent installed.  Fitbit's solution was to offer a 25% discount on another tracker.

Thank you Alejandra, I found that post a week or so ago and tried all those tips but my battery life has not improved.

Browse the forums - there are so many of us who suddenly had our batteries die, and I even posted a video showing how it goes to half capacity just from rebooting it.  It's a known issue that they're find with pretending doesn't exist.

Thanks Shawnwilfong, I've been wondering if it was a software issue because it came on suddenly and the battery level drops after rebooting even after charging it for a long time.

My battery was at around 75% before my 5 mile run.  I did not use any gps or modes (I just wore it) then while out on a 2 hour bike ride right after it was dead as a doornail.  I had a little rain shower but the battery just died.  When I returned home I put it on the charger where it stayed for 24 hours because I could not get it to charge.  All that would show was the blue arrow/star.  When you remove it from the charger nothing happens.  I have tried everything.  It wont turn on!!!

Mine has been acting strange. One day it was working fine then decided that it didn't want to sync. I found a solution (turning off the Bluetooth and wifi and then back on). It got to the red on the battery life and when I went to charge it the device wouldn't connect. It is stuck on this red battery screen. I have tried to reset it and nothing. It doesn't nothing. It sucks!
