Blaze Bike Ride tracks map but shows no mileage

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hello,

Yesterday I started my bike ride on my Blaze and made sure that tracking was enabled on my iphone app as well.  When I finished the ride and synced, fitbit is showing the map that I rode accurately, but it still shows 0 miles.

Any help would be appriciated.

That's not good. Can you try choosing walk and see if that will give you good readings please. And then maybe try choosing biking again adn maybe go around the block. I guess i am trying to guage whether it's the phone itself not recording the miles based on the gps or the app not getting the mileage data from the phone..

I am curious; please let me know.

Welcome to the Forums @MattWiz! @Thanks for posting the screenshot of your map ride, I haven't seen any report about this. I would like to ask if your app is up to date? Also have you tried to log out of the app and then back in to see if the map shows the millage? Did you try the advise from @Kosnick to see if it records your walking millage? @coolbear80 are you still experiencing this issue?

Keep me posted! 🙂

Hi All,

I've had the same problem today, I use my Blaze regularly to track walking and works fine and get the GPS maps, today I cycled to work and mileage not tracked, glad I use a second app to record mileage but you would expect the Blaze to record everything.

Hey @Cbosh, a warm welcome to the Community.

Regarding the issue you experienced with your Blaze, did you select the "Bike" exercise from your Blaze or did you use SmartTrack? Remember that you can always manually log an activity by doing the following from your Fitbit app:

  1. On the Fitbit app dashboard tap the Exercise tile to open your exercise history. This is the tile that says "Track exercise" or shows how many days you've worked out this week.
  2. Tap the stopwatch icon in the top right corner.
  3. Tap Log.
  4. Tap a recent activity or search for an exercise type.
  5. Adjust the activity details and tap Add.

Hope to hear from you soon. Robot Happy
