Blaze Bluetooth Pairing and GPS tracking

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

The past couple of times I tried to do a GPS tracked run on the Blaze it couldn't find my phone for the tracking. Usually when that happens a reset and turning the bluetooth on and off sorts it out.

This morning though, I tried that and the watch still couldn't find it. It finally said that 'the phone rejected it' or something like that.
When I got home, I unpaired the blaze to my phone and went to pair it again and now it is not visible to my phone. Any thoughts? Thanks!

Hello @Brighde! 🙂 Great to see you in the Community Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you're having problems with your Blaze not connecting to the GPS on your phone 😕

Since you're having problems with it now connecting back to your app, there's something that we can try... Please go to your phone's settings and here, look for the Bluetooth settings. In your devices, you should see the Blaze. Tap on it, then select the "Forget this device" option and now, go back to the Fitbit app.

Before setting up your tracker again, it would be good to give it a restart. You can easily do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. This will make your tracker to reboot. Now you can proceed to set it up as a new device.

For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem and it should connect to your GPS as well. Just to be sure, when starting the activity on your Blaze, make sure to open the Fitbit app for it to connect without a problem. After that you can lock your phone and go on with your run.

Let me know how it goes!
