Hi, @MissyZ317, your Blaze does not affect your ability to turn Bluetooth off on your phone. If you want to keep Bluetooth on, but do not wish the Blaze to continually access your phone, you should turn off all day sync and notifications, and keep the app closed except when you want to use it.

That's really weird that you can't turn Bluetooth off on your phone. I would try the high tech solution of turning the phone off and then on again...

If your Blaze is with your phone and the phone's Bluetooth is on, the Blaze will show connected in your phone's BT settings, even if the Blaze is not actively syncing or receiving notifications. That is expected behaviour so nothing is wrong. If you don't want the Blaze to be connected, you will need to turn BT off on your phone. This will preserve battery generally as your phone will not be seeking external devices.
