Hi

I have just bought a Fitbit Blaze and have been dismayed to find that one of the few phone it does not work with is the Samsung Galaxy A5 (my phone).

Is there no way to recieve notifications from this phone on the Blaze? If not is there any plan on adding the A5 to the list of compatable phones? If not I'm afraid I will have to return the Blaze

Thanks

@Drew1984  I have a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 which is not listed as a compatible device, but it works perfectly with the Blaze (it also worked with the Charge HR).  Have you tried setting it up and using it?

@Drew1984 as you found out, many new phones do work even when not on the compatable list. This is because manufacturers don't make big changes with the hardware between models. The biggest thing is to get the settings correct, and this seems to be a chalkange sometimes with a phone that is compatible. Especially on Android, which is designed to be customizable.

Yes phones are continually being added as they are tested, and debugged.

What did you change in your settings? I have an A5 as well and I am having the same problems getting notifications.

Hello @Drew1984 welcome to the Fitbit Community! As @AdkinsJA mentioned if your phone is not listed but it has the requirements it might work but we don't guarantee it will work properly as it is still being tested. @Anotherworld if you are having issues with the notifications please review the troubleshoot suggested on this article@Rich_Laue thanks for your amazing cooperation! 🙂

Let me know how it goes! 🙂
