Blaze Exercise Results Different from Dashboard Summary

I never trusted my Fitbit Charge HR to accurately track my heart rate during exercise because it couldn't keep up with my Polar H7 chest strap. The Fitbit Blaze seems to be doing a much better job. Over the last two days, I did different types of workouts and tracked my stats simultaneously with my Blaze and the Polar Beat phone app. I've been very impressed with the results because the average HR, max HR, and calories burned have all been within a few percent on the two devices. I have noticed an unexpected issue, however. After both sessions, I wrote down the exercise results summary on my actual Blaze to compare them with Polar Beat. When I went to my Fitbit dashboard later to recheck my stats, I noticed that the results listed on my dashboard do not match what my Blaze told me directly after the workout. Both times produced descrepencies.

Workout 1:

Blaze results - 55 min, 120 ave HR, 168 max HR, 586 calories

Dashboard summary - 55 min, 121 ave HR, 168 max HR, 586 calories

1 BPM difference on the average HR was no big deal at all, so I didn't think much of it. Today, however, I did a 12 mile bike ride and noticed a lot more contradictions:

Blaze results - 55 min, 11.8 miles, 13.1 ave speed, 21.3 max speed, 151 ave HR, 175 max HR, 808 calories

Dashboard summary - 55 min,11.8 miles, 12.9 ave speed, 20.3 max speed, 149 ave HR, 175 max HR, 807 calories

Granted the differences aren't extreme, I can't figure out why they exist. The original numbers are closer to what the Polar H7 registered (Workout 1: 55m, 127 ave HR, 175 max HR, 579 cals; Workout 2: 55m, 12.15 miles, 13.2 average speed, 22.8 max speed, 156 ave HR, 176 max HR, 832 cals).

This brings me to another interesting difference. I used my phone's GPS for both programs simultaneously, yet they came up with different results (12.15 total miles on Polar Beat versus 11.8 on Fitbit) and different average/max speeds. Again, the results are so close that it's sort of nitpicky, but I still wonder why they're different.

It's great to see you around @Brackforce. Thanks for the information provided. Have you tried force syncing your tracker with a computer to update the information? If you haven't, I recommend doing a force sync from a computer by following these steps:

1. Verify that Fitbit Connect is installed and the wireless sync dongle is plugged into your computer.
2. Click the Fitbit Connect icon located near the data and time on your computer.
3. Click "Sync Now." Fitbit Connect will look for your tracker.
4. Once the sync is complete, click Go to Fitbit.com.

Also, I recommend checking @bcalvanese's post where he's providing really good tips to make the Blaze more accurate.

Catch you later! Woman Happy
