Firmware version 17.8.301.8 - Resolves a syncing issue with Apple iOS version 10.2
Workout mode missing? Not a problem! Just follow the steps for adding it back.
Hey everyone!
We're rolling out a new update for Blaze, release notes below:
This release also resolves the following issue:
Important to note: A sync is required after a manual shutdown or a battery drain in order to show the correct time on Blaze. This is especially important for your activity tracked by Blaze because you'll want to make sure it's associated with the current date and time.

@skmondal have you tried restarting the Blaze by hold in in both the left and lower right buttons? And maybe restarting the phone?
Now if you have a computer you could also try the ought, I charging cable.

I had the update problem with my Moto G4, it turns out the phone is not compatible. I dug out my old Samsung S4 and it updated the Blaze straight away.
I also have intermittent notifications, I assume this is also because the phone is not compatible.

I've restarted the Blaze multiple times. I've restarted the phone (Windows Phone 950XL). I've turned off bluetooth on the phone and used the Windows Fitbit Connect app and the dongle. The Blaze isn't able to update. It is a new device, unboxed and charged up yesterday evening. It shows 8.102.7. It syncs fine and tracked my sleep overnight. There is one other oddity -- the Blaze does not have an Exercise tile.

How do I get the lastest software update??
I keep getting notifications to update, but when I hook up to my USB, I can't see how to link in for the update!
Can someone let me know what I'm doing work, please?
Thanks

I updated my tracker and since the update, the screen flashes with the Start up screen/fitbit logo and it will no longer sync. I have tried resetting it by pressing the Back&Select buttons but nothing... Any suggestions?

I have found that you only get the reminders if you haven't had 250 steps prior to the last 10 minutes of an hour. If you have the 250 steps prior then when you go into the app it will give you credit for the number of hours your have walked at least 250 steps.

Love the update, especially the notifications from all apps.
I use the new Ace display but would like it to be a little smaller, closer to the Circuit so that the 11,1,5,7 markers can be seen at the top and bottom of the clock.
Since I don't do sleep tracking I shut the Blaze down at night to conserve battery and the requirement to resynch each morning to correct the time is annoying...I'd like this to be the same as it was with automatically keeping time when off.
Also with call alerts, why only Contacts and not Phone ?
I ask this because calls coming from numbers not in my Contacts will not display an alert on the Blaze though the phone (S5) shows it on my lock screen. Surely this is just another standard Android app to add to the available list of alerts ?

@Visualtps I'm not following you, the reminders are to remind you to do at least 250 steps this hour.. If you already did those 250 steps then what is there to remind?
On the Blaze there is an hourly step counter to let you know how far away you are from those 250 steps.

Go into your app. De-select Workout in the list of exercises, re-select it, and sync. It will re-appear as an option on the Blaze.

The recent upgrade took effect and I have already changed my clock face and am getting used to the gentle prods to keep moving (only 235 steps left in this hour).
The only issue I have is with the mandatory syncing of my Blaze with my phone after shutting down the Blaze when I go to bed. I have turned off bluetooth (and heart rate monitor) on my Blaze and I get 9 to 10 days between charges. My phone isn't within easy reach (charged on another floor) and I have turned off bluetooth and location services on my android phone as I don't need them all the time - and I get 2 1/2 days between charges on the phone. I basically use the Blaze as a step-counting watch! And sync it on a weekly basis.
Can I get around syncing my Blaze to phone whenever I want to use the watch facility on the Blaze.
The reason I mentioned location services is that to sync the Blaze and phone, I have to have bluetooth on (to talk each other), location services to find the Blaze, and a wi-fi (or internet) connection to connect the phone to Fitbit Central in order to download from the Blaze to the phone.

Hi guys, I have successfully update my fitbit blaze to latest version. However, i notice a small problem. Previously before i update, my time operates correctly when i switch on. After update, i must connect to my windows 10 mobile in order to sync the time. Is there any solution for this issue?
