I got an update to 17.8.301.8 this morning.   Any idea what's in the release?  The only thing I could spot was a different watchface.

This release corrected a problem with iOS users being able to sync.  You can read release notes HERE

Hope that helps.

And on a slightly related topic - how did the subject of this thread get changed after I posted it?

Hi there guys,

Not sure if this last firmware update has to do something or not with my tracker being unable to pair with my laptop and phone.

Anyone with the same problem after updating ?

cheers.

@Julitor that would depend on what phone you have, see @Kmransom123's post above yours for what the update fixes.

As for the comouter, if your phone is still bonded to the tracker then the pc will not be able to connect.. You probably will have to turn the BT off on the phone first.

Hi Rich,

the phone is a Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge and I was aware about the tracker not pairing with 2 devices at the same time. Usually I disconnect from the phone in order to connect with the computer.

Anyway I think the problem is solved already, after switiching off-on the tracker.

Let´s see how it goes,

Thanks.

I'm on a android, so far so good. Nothing major, huge update but nothing worth mentioning. ;(

As a Droid user do I need to worry about this update or should I just skip it?

doesn't work, it won't complete the update.

The horror. It keeps syncing in a loop without ever finishing the update. Also my clock time is totally off by 3 1/2 hours. IOS 10.2. Tried rebooting, re-setting but all to no avail.

I can't identify anything that's different.  The automatic link to the phone for GPS with exercise detection must be in the next one.

Got it to finally update. After unpairing from the bluetooth connection and rebooting my Iphone twice it finally upgraded. Phew. What a nightmare that was. Glad though it works again as I can't live without my blaze. Merry Christma to y'all.

Same battery life issue here.  I get maybe a day of battery now, whereas I used to get 3-4 days at least.

I have the latest update, took it off the Charger Saturday morning. It is now Tuesday morning and the battery level is still medium.

@RhysLewis I have no idea what auto link GPS your refereeing to, as stated above this update at richly fixes problems that started with some problems apple released latest update.

If you feel your battery doesn't last long, then contact fitbit. The link is in the top right corner, and under help in the app.

I think after reaching the half of steps there is no Heart Rate Display and than the battery goes down!

I Hope it ends with a new Update!

This update had completely fudged up my blaze. My heart rate monitor no longer works and worse than that the battery is abysmal. Charged it all last night put it on at 10am this morning, 3.5 hours later it is dead.

Can I fix this myself or will they be sending out an update. I have an android.

Thank you.
