When can we have Whatsapp notifications on Fitbit Blaze?

Best Answer

It would also be nice if in the next update they made Messages+ work with the Blaze. Its selectable in the text options, it should at least work.

Hopefully we get good updates like Microsoft is rolling out...looking forward to more fitstar exercises on watch as promised by fitbit. And many more things of course but I don't have my blaze yet so I'll be seeing what it's all about when it arrives 🙂 ...

In my experience it takes about 2 weeks after an update is released before I get them 😞

Although this isn't what I like to hear, thank you @ThePreacher very much for the info.

2 weeks?! Fitbit better buy more servers.

This totally encourages me to buy an Apple Watch when the next generation is out.

When do you plan on rolling out additional clock faces?

Hello,

The notification doesn't work anymore since April 1 2016.

I believe that happened after the firmware has been updated. Now it"s running 17.8.102.7.

Also it was almost impossible to pair the device with my LG G4 phone.I've tried everything to get it back to working condition but still no luck. Is there any way to reset the blaze to the earlier  version of the firmware. I wanted to return it to the sore today but I beyond 30 days return policy.

There was no a single issue before April 1.
Thank you for any advises.

Part of the issue may be the phone. I have a LG G4 as well and its a terrible phone. I'm on my 8th replacement from Verizon. All replaced for various issues (lock ups, boot loops, unresponsive screen, fire, wifi issues, bluetooth issues, the list goes on). Myself and my family have had a lot of smartphones through the years and never had to replace a single one of them.

I'm pretty sure Verizon has spent more on overnight shipping me replacements than it would of cost just to give me a different phone. I even said I'd accept a refurbished Samsung Note 4 over a replacement G4, they wouldn't do it.

I purchased 4 Flex's for myself and gifts...decided to spring for the BLAZE for myself...

I have been nothing but disappointed as all of the forums have raised.  Four clock faces...the best one (in my opinion) cuts off the numbers (as designed!), and not even a mention of additional ones.

A charging cradle that is as flimsy as you could possibly make it.

Not to mention a simple upgrade to customize the vibration patterns would make a multitude of people more satisfied with their Blaze.  Again, not even a mention of additional ones or the acceptance of the customer ask.

Fitbit developers (and leadership) must understand that customer choice is paramount for their survival.

In the past year the stock has dropped from 50 to 15 and they got a Mulligan with the Surge it seems with the average consumer.

It is not the product that forces customers away, it's the arrogance of the developers and leadership's lacking to understand their market and adjust for it.

I think Fitbit will not be on the gift list this year nor will I be a stockholder.

Best of luck and market survival team.

You do have a few months before the holiday season to remedy the shortcomings of the Blaze.

The stock did just get an upgrade by Longview Research and how it’s selling. Software development isn’t easy so I took the plunge with hopes that the next non-general bug fix firmware update adds a few things like a few other watch faces, reminders to move, and reordering the Today page.

I just bought a Blaze (previously had a Flex) and am trying to set it up.  I got as far as requesting the firmware update and now it is frozen.  Any suggestions?

Just realized this morning, my Blaze is on the most recent Firmware. I never accepted the update. I usually don't install firmware updates on anything right away because of the issues that can sometimes come along with them. I really wish there was some sort of warning that the Blaze was going to update, I would of put off for a few weeks.

Thank you for the reply,
I don't think it's my phone. I haven" had any single issue with it since I got it last year. What I noticed yesterday I got a message "update is available for fitbit application". After I updated it the notification stopped working. Also there is a change in fitbit notification layout on my my phone. It looks completely different now. You can't customize  it now. There is no notification widget. I don't think the firmware on my device has been updated but I'm sure the issue is in fitbit application.

Is the app now smart enough to work with firmware upgrades when you have 2 models? Mine seems to always start out showing my charge even tthough I don't wear it often.  I noticed that the last Charge update is showing, but I haven't sync'd to update it yet.  I'm not sure my wife's Charge ever had the past 2 updates pop up on her app, unless she didn't notice.

I deleted my Flex when I got a Blaze.

I ended up calling support.  They were super helpful and my Blaze works now.  I have a Galaxy 3 and we ended up logging me into my husband's iPhone to update.  Then, I logged out of his phone and back in to mine and everything was updated.

I'm new to the fitbit world.  How will I know when my Blaze will download the update? Will I get a notification in the app? Thanks!

Yes, the app will show you that an update is available, and it will walk you through the steps.
