Update 4/12/16:
Hey all,
As of yesterday, the firmware update for Blaze should be available to everyone. As is common with initial updates, this version focuses on stability improvements and bug fixes. We're looking forward to delivering feature improvements with future updates so stay tuned!

Hey! While it is April 1st, the Blaze firmware update to version 17.8.104.1 is no joke. As usual, we're rolling out the update in waves, and we hope to have everyone updated soon.

I just bought my Fitbit Blaze yesterday and it is running on firmware version 17.8.102.7, how I can update mine? I don't see update available. thanks

It is rolling out, as stated numerous times by Fitbit. It is not available to everyone just yet.

@MoovinGroovin Nah, I work in IT for a large corporation and this is a very common practice. There are very good technical and logistical reasons for a controlled rollout no matter how much testing has been done. I'm a proponent of this method as opposed to the shotgun approach. In my opinion it's just good SOP.

Google, Microsoft, etc all do this. It has nothing to do with being a beta tester. There are a million users of the Blaze alone. If there is an issue, it would overwhelm them in trying to resolve. Better to send it to some and make sure all goes as planned. There is no real way to test a roll out that large with people having so many different kinds of phones and computers.

Well I hope they speed it up haha. I'm having an issue with sleep and step tracking and the the email I got from customer service says the update should fix it. Thanks for the info @Nocturnx

my Blaze will not update to 17.8.104.1. Tried everything. Fitbit Connect says my Blaze is up to date with version 17.8.102.1 Don't understand which is version is the correct latest version.
And, why 17.8.104.1, if it is the latest update, won't download????
