I'm not sure. It's definitely on, but do I need to keep moving?

I can see the update. It just won't go through. Keeps saying operations cant be completed FBBluetoothErrorDomainerror 3. I can't even sync.

I'm not surprised that you can't sync, this error is associated with your BT driver. I did a search with your error code and every reference is related to an iOS device.

Thoughts:

  • Turn off/on Bluetooth, this will restart the drivers
  • Restart phone should restart all software and most hardware.
  • Update app
  • If app is at latest remove app them install.

Rare error, google only returns 5 results (4 on Fitbit forums, 1 on Facebook). Appears to be a bug with communication between Fitbit app and Fitbit tracker. The error code is Fitbit specific, however we know Fitbit uses GATT and therefore it appears either Fitbit app or tracker refuses to write data for some unknown reason. As it usually works for people, seems like an error condition that Fitbit engineers didn't attempt to workaround leaving it up to you to fix.

Troubleshooting steps:

- restart Fitbit tracker (your Blaze) by following these instructions: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/How-do-I-restart-my-tracker/

- force quit Fitbit app on iPhone, instructions: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201330

- if those two steps don't resolve the issue, restart iPhone

Agreed. I just got my Blaze last week. Right out of the box it has version. 102.7 & no pink arrow indicating an update is available. Now what?

You wait. That's what you do.

I wish my Blaze would remind me to move every hour. Also, I have just walked 1000 steps and Blaze still says I have not moved in this hour. Very frustrating.

I'm right there with you. I have been trying  to  get my 259 steps an hour. But really wish it would remind me to do so. But I have been setting alarms. To go off every by setting  them myself.

This happened to me Thursday. The app says I didnt get 250 steps between 3:00 and 4:00, but the dashboard shows over 3000 steps in that time frame.

@Dhywb Ah, looks like they changed the link on me. Smiley Frustrated

It should link to the correct place now. Good catch!

The most concerning thing about not having received the firmware update yet is that this is ME we are talking about.  Sure, others may have to wait, but come on: ME???!!!!.  I paid for this darn thing with my hard earned cash!  I should have been first to get it!!!  Smiley Surprised

I can sympathize with ME, but I'm also glad Fitbit is rolling it out shower than some odd the updated in the past. The first update I know of was released to all, and the servers went down. Then the next updates where released over a week, and while many had no problems there were many that did. I think Fitbit is rolling it out slowly to see if there are any unforeseen problems in the update procedure.
Now if this update added new features to the Blaze, I might not be so calm.

I checked my Fitbit Blaze and my current Firmware version is 17.8.102.7. I have constantly checked for an update via my phone app as well as via Fitbit Connect on PC but for the past month or so I have not been able to see any firmware updates available.

I thought it was weird and came onto these forums to check and see the Firmware verison have already been updated so I am wonder why on earth mine is not getting the update?

*For the record my fitbit blaze restarts randomly non-stop for 10 times and I am trying to fit this annoying issue.

the update is slowly getting rolled out, Sr the original post.

As for the reboot, do you have any other BT devices that where recently attached to the phone, or even turned on?

There have been reports of some type of BT interference causing the Blaze to reboot.

It took quite a few tries, but I finally got both the Charge and Blaze firmware updates in.  I couldn't do it with my Galaxy Note tablet. It kept saying to upgrade the app, but Google Play insisted it didn't need upgrading.  Nothing on the PC site either.  It did show an upgrade for my Motorole Razr, even though I hadn't even been able to sync with that.  But after the upgrade, I got it to do the firmware update after 5 tries.  I found that I couldn't let the screen on the phone black out because about a minute later the upgrade would hang. Probably some sort of low power mode, I guess.  The Charge only took 3 tries.  The first 2 flashed past in just a couple seconds and then said "failed".  The 3rd time worked fine though.

Now my Razr-M syncs ( but only on wi-fi) and I get text and call notifications, at least on the Blaze. I haven't tried the Charge yet.  The downside is that it made the sensitivity on the Blaze so high that I got 600 steps sitting on the couch watching TV, and 100 steps with it sitting on the chest of drawers overnight. Along with 9 flights of stairs that day when I couldn't remember going up any.  Not terrible but not very accurate anymore.  I can put up with the sensitivity to get the notifications, though. Hopefully they'll fix that and not break 2 other things in the next update.
