Blaze Firmware Update Issue

After firmware update, all the stats don't reset. Yesterday night I did a firmware update after that my blaze stopped the dispaly and when I did a hard reboot, it started the display. But the problem is the stats are carried forwarded from yesterday.  All the stats (steps, miles etc) are yesterday's but the date is also today’s.  When I synched again, I got a new badge as I completed 10K target ( which is yesterday's) . It refuses to reset!

I tried a trick. I changed the time setting and fat forwarded the time so that i am ahead a day. I found it is resetting. But when I change back to my time it shows back the old stats. Now I am optimistic it will reset when my day ends!

Now the reset seems to be working, but now have the timezone issue. It's taking me to Midway Island! Toggling Automatic Timezone on and off and selecting manual timezone, nothing works!. It seems Fitbit wants me to go to Midway island! Thanks for giving 2 Sundays back to back Fitbit!

@Mysticboyzone the timezone fudge is the best answer I can give if it is still early in the morning. Once the steps have reset you may set the tracker to the correct timezone. 

If Firmware update process crossed midnight, it would explain the steps not resetting.

I did that and it resets the stats. Now the issue is, it takes me to Midway island TZ. It overrides th automatic/manual TZ i set. I created a fictitious acct and logged in with that, it shows correct time but the moment I logged in with my original acct and pair the device, it goes to Midway Island!

Finally I got TZ issue got resolved. Here's what I tried. Logged into fitbit.com from laptop and paired it. While pairing chose the TZ and hurrah! It selected the chosen TZ. Now logged in from my phone all works well!
