Hi, @wes8215, Fitbit never announces specific time frames for updates in advance, because sometimes in the testing stages issues can arise, making the timetable variable.  Also when a firmware is availabble it is always released in batches in case ther are further unexpected issues.  If there are no issues found usually everyone has the update within a week or two of the initial release.  When a firmware update is available for you you will see a red arrow in your app.

Actually, FitBit announced that the Blaze firmware would arrive by the end of this month:

  • New features for Fitbit Blaze will be available globally in February 2017

So we have a week and a couple days.

Hi, @adammiarka, interesting!  Thanks for drawing that to my attention.  I guess it should be soon then.

Hi everyone! I'm glad to see you all participating in the Community Forums and thanks for your interest in the updates for the Fitbit Blaze.

Currently, this is being worked on but as @Julia_G said, it takes some times while tests are run to ensure that all will work well and for that reason, we still don't have an official date on when this will be released.

I really want to thank you for your patience and make sure to keep an eye on the forums and also on your apps which is where you will be notified first had when any new update is available for your trackers.

Anything else you may need, let me know. I'll be happy to help! 🙂

What about interval time like the fitbit charger 2. The ability to time work and rest periods.

@Angelwarrior, I would like that too!  Someone has created a feature request for that, and you can add you vote here.  The more votes, the more likely it is to be implemented.

I will go vote Julia thank you. It is very silly to not have that function. I just purcahsed my Blaze but if I find something with the same functionality as the blaze plus interval well I will make that change. Thanks!
