I have noticed that my blaze doesnt count my steps correctly. As a test I did the following set a walk exercise on the Blaze. used the exercise tab on the smartpphone itself used endomondo Both Endomondo and Fitbit on the Smartphone record very similar lengh walks with the maps showing very similar straigh lines where I walk . When using the blaze for the same walk , it recorded 25% more distance and the map shows the same route but it zigzags all over the place ( adding the 25% ) . Is there a way to stop this?

The Blaze uses your phone's GPS to track the walk/run, so not sure why you would get a result like this.

I have found instances where my iphone would act up with my fitbit.  I restarted my phone and it corrected itself.

@walklikegump wanted to clarify, are you saying:

- Good results with Endomondo app recording walk

- Good results with Fitbit app recording walk

- Bad results with Blaze recording walk using Connected GPS

???

It sounds like you've ruled out the phone GPS being the probem, and that issue is with Blaze and how it uses phone GPS. Other users have reported the same problem.

It has done this since I started using it a week ago. It has had a few
restarts and even a complete wipe to upgrade to the latest firmware (
galaxy Note 4) I will set it up on my wife's Nexus 5x tonight and
investigate further. Shame I don't know anyone else with a blaze. Could
have tested in the opposite direction too.
