I just started using the Blaze and before I went for a run I saw that I needed my phone in order to have GPS. So I decided to leave my phone behind because it's too big to hold but when I finished the run and looked back at the history it calculated the distance, my pace, calories and time. How did it do this without my phone?

Probably used your steps, stride length, and time to come up with the numbers.

His How accurate was it?

I just mapped my run on Mapmyrun.com and it was pretty close to what my fitbit said. It just doesn't make any sense to me how it calculated without my phone.

@shannonvt without your phone, as @Salpal23 states above, tour Blaze will be like any other Fitbit model, using your step count, and your stride to calculate distance.

The connected GPS of the phone, will add a GPS map distance calculated by GPS.

It is just estimating.  Few device have built in GPS and they all have to estimate with the varibles like age, weight and steps/stride.

That is the only way it could come up with this inforamtion as there is no GPS in the Blaze.
