Blaze Heart Rate Monitor Stopped working after F/W update 17.8.301.8

My wife & I have Blaze FitBits & after the latest update (17.8.301.8) her heart rate monitor stopped working & mine is still fine.  Seems to me to be an update issue.  Lights working just fine, but her heart rate is calculated or display.  We've performed several restarts, changed the heart rate monitor settings multiple times, re-sync after each settings adjustments all with no positive resolution to the issue.  We both have Samsung Android phones so the .301.8 update to correct for iOS issues shouldn't have impacted her Blaze at all, let alone so negatively.  

 

Anyone else have a similar problem after this update?  Can I regress the f/w back to .301.7 to see if that helps?

There is no way to go back.

 

Please contact support and let them know what you have done already to solve the problem

I have the same issue, on the same F/W, was working fine yesterday, put it to charge last night and put it on today and no heart rate, the green lights flash on the back but cannot get heart rate. Restarted a number of times and switched heart rate from on to auto aswell.

 

Using Android fitbit app.
