Blaze Keeps Freezing and rebooting

My new Blaze keeps freeezing, i.e. the screen won't respond to swiping and then works fine, then freezes etc. It also eeps rebooting, running the battery down in less than a day. It has firmware version 8.301.8 and it's syncd with my iPhone 6 plus with iOS version 10.2.1.

 

I'm wondering if it's a faulty device and am thinking of returning it. Any help would be appreciated.

Yes @PauliePaul, it does sound like it is faulty. 

Im not sure exactly what is happening, have you tried a restart by holding in both the left and lower right buttons?

Im also nit sure if youll be able to shutdown the Blaze through its settings menu.

My thought, of this keeps up and if your able to, yes exchange it at the place of purchase.. Doing this will be quicker, vtgan going through Fitbit.

Now on the other hand, contacting Fitbit might help get it working, or confirm its demise.

Thanks for your reply. I called customer support and they confirmed that the Blaze was indeed faulty - battery. Not a great introduction to a fitbit product, but have just picked up the replacement and it seems to be working perfectly.
