Blaze Latest Update 17.8.301.8 won't hold charge

I updated to the latest firmware last week. Didn't have any issues until yesterday when my Blaze suddenly would not hold a charge. I charged it full last night and it died 5 hours later. Same thing this morning. I charged it full and it died within 5 hours again today. It was 100% fine 2 days ago. It was steadily holding 4-5 days of charge. Anyone else have this happen to them? I've had my Blaze for 13 months so go figure that it might have broken right after the warranty runs out... Unless somehow it was a firmware bug. No way the battery goes from working perfectly to absolutely dead in an instant.

My blaze is not holding its charge since that update a couple days ago, plus it will not record my activities. Help!!!!

I have this same exact issue and was feeling it was likely the firmware prior to reading this post.  Now I am convinced.  Something in that latest firmware update broke this thing.  I don't know if some sort of task is permanently running in the background or what.  I suspect it may be related to the new sleep monitoring...

That's the problem I had when I installed the update about 2 weeks ago. After contacting support, they sent me a replacement tracker, and as soon as I started the process of setting up the replacement on my account, it started installing the update again, without giving me the choice to opt out. I will be furious if the update destroys the brand new one too like it did to my original Blaze. Mine was needing to be recharged every 12 to 30 hours since the update 2 weeks ago. 😞

OK good. I am glad I am not the only one! I really do believe it is a major firmware bug and I agree that the new sleeping monitoring update is the primary suspect.

I have the same issue, after recharging I didn't wear my watch went to it this morning and it's lost its charge Arrgghh how annoying!!!!!
