Just got this thing yesterday. I do love how it alerts me about new texts/emails.. but I've noticed they pile up quickly and I have to go and "clear" them to keep my OCD in check. I read that they clear themselves after 24 hours. Is this adjustable? I'd like to have it at like 5 mins. Anyone else think this is way too long?

There is no setting for the length of time a notification remains on the Blaze. To be honest, I've never tested how long a text remains on there. Next text I get, I'll let it stay and see what happens.
