Blaze Quick View Delayed Reaction

When I raise my wrist to see the time, the watch face lights up but only after about half a second.  The lag is a little annoying.  I've already raised my wrist but need to hold it there until the display lights up so that I can read the time.  Have other people noticed this?  Why can't it come on immediately?

Sometimes mine won't even show up when I raise my arm...I ended up just turning that feature off.

Mine RARELY works when I raise my wrist. This is soooo frustrating. Double tapping the face to check my heart rate isn't always possible depending on what kind of workout I'm doing. It's my biggest complaint so far about the Blaze.

Hi there @Diane316 @fitrrr @APENNELL0801. It's great to see you in the Community! 🙂

Please  take a look at my response on this other thread about how QuickView works. You may see it by clicking here. Wile it addresses how it works with the notifications, it is basically the same way it works with the regular function of turning the arm to see the time.

Hope this helps. Let me know if you need anything else!

I am so sorry I decided to purchase the Blaze. It's just one problem after another. The latest two issues are unacceptable. First, the heart rate feature is a joke. It was the whole reason I got the Blaze - to keep track of my HR. It's useless most of the time. It has my HR all over the place. Today, on the elliptical it had me at 150. No way! I even stopped and manually took my HR and it was 122. It will have my rate going from 108 directly up to 160 in a matter of seconds. I will feel no different, no pounding heart, nothing. Ridiculous. Yes, I've placed it on my wrist where it's recommended. I've tried it tight, loose, everything. It's just plain inaccurate. At one point I even took it off and set it aside. It continued to measure my HR with me not touching it! Seriously? So of course this doesn't help me in any way and also throws my calorie count off for the day. Problem two has just happened the past few days. It is recording activity that I haven't even done!! This morning I got up and went to breakfast and when I got home I noticed it had recorded 13 mins of activity. I don't think sitting in a restaurant booth could be considered exercise. Yesterday it gave me 8 minutes before I even began my workout. So again, this throws everything off including my calorie count. The only reason I continue to wear it is for the step count which seems to be the only thing that is fairly accurate. I have downloaded the Fooducate app to deal with calories eaten and burned, etc. which totally defeats the purpose of a tracker!! I guess I'll have to go back to my chest strap for an accurate HR. So what I basically have is a very expensive pedometer. I am beyond frustrated and disappointed with this thing and would never recommend it to anyone. What a waste of my money!
