Blaze Won't Hold Charge and Buttons Don't Work

Two days ago I charged by Blaze up and yesterday I noticed that it froze while I was exercising. The logo screen came up when pressed but the screen then froze on the individual details (steps, HRM, calories etc). I couldn't get it back to the clock face. After about half an hour I checked again and the screen was blank. the buttons didn't work even out of the watch strap. I tried restart switch off (left button and bottom right at the same time) but that didn't work either.  When I got home I put the unit into the charger and charged it up. Altho my exercise results were not saved when I tried to sync the unit later I thought problem solved at least the unit is charged up and appears to be working but no! This morning the same happened again and again I had to wait until I got home to charge the unit up again. Gave it a full charge, fine .. but within 30 mins the Blaze need charging again. I can't seem to restart it but I have been able to switch it off and get it started again. But non of this seems to work. When I charge it up I am now afraid to go to the Logo screen and press for the details because the watch freezes and needs a charge to fee the screen up - help!

Update on my situation. My solution was to take my Blaze back to the retailer that I bought it from and exchange it. However at the same time I upgraded to the Ionic and paid the difference in the price. Looking at the comments it looks like this fault may be due to the software update affecting the system or is it method by which Fitbit gets its community to upgrade from Blaze to Ionic?
