Blaze Won't Turn On

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi,

Last night I charged my Blaze.

When I took it off charge it shows nothing on the screen.

I have tried every combination of buttons to power on and nothing happens.

When I put it back in its cradle there is nothing displayed on the screen.

Fitbit app says it is looking for the device.

Any ideas?

Have you tried holding the left button and the right lower button at the same time for 10-15 secs?? That will reset your Fitbit.

Hi @Sunshine1973, Welcome to the Forums! 🙂

I'm sorry you've already tried everything and nothing works 😕

I'd say that at this point, you can get in touch with the guys at the Support Team for them to take a closer look and help you out with this and get you back on track.

Let me know if you need more help!

Hi there @kayeemalanyaon. Good to see you in the Community Forums!

Thanks for trying to restart your tracker. Since that didn't work, what happens when you put your tracker in the Charger? Do you see the charging indicator or will it stay blank?

Hi. I have received a Fitbit blaze. When I originally synced it, the blaze charged. When I took it off the charger, there was nothing on the screen. I have tried the reset that you have spoken about, but it's not working. Any other ideas?

I have to use this reset workaround on a daily basis, and even then it dies. I used to charge every 3 days, but now it acts up several times a day. I love the blaze but frustrated.Might have to see what the competition has. 😞

Hi there @Beck85 @madblazeuser. Great to see you guys in the Fitbit Community!

@Beck85, besides the screen not working, are the green lights on the back working? If you put it in the charger, are you able to see anything coming on the display?

@madblazeuser, I would like to know if when you say that it dies, you mean that the battery drains completely or is it that the tracker just shuts off and when you press any button it comes back on again?

I'll be waiting for your replies!

Hi @1565. Good to see you back! 🙂

Are you getting any type of error message when setting it up as a new device?

Please make sure you're following these instructions for that:

Go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.

If that doesn't work, you can go to your bluetooth settings on your phone itself, see the connected devices and tap on your Blaze, then hit the option that says "Forget this device" and follow the setup process again and see how it goes.

Let me know if you need more help with this!

Ok so what you would want to do is press all of the three buttons and wait 10 seconds holding down the buttons

Hello @1565 the reset procedure is press the home(left) button and the select(lower right) *buttons simultaneously for 12 seconds, not 10.

Hey there @scott890. Good to see you in the Fitbit Community!

I would recommend trying to restart the tracker once again but this time making sure you're doing it by pressing the left and lower right buttons for about 10-15 seconds. This will turn the tracker off, turn it back on by showing the Fitbit logo and this is basically a restart. If your tracker doesn't respond to this a all and nothing shows on the screen, please reach out to our Support Team who will be happy to take a deeper look and have you all set as soon as possible. Just be sure to let them know what you have done for them to move forward to a quicker resolution.

Hope to se you back on track soon and anything else you may need, I'm always around, just let me know! 🙂

So this method worked to get my fitbit back on! Thank you. Just wondering what the issue was? It helps to understand why my blaze did that to begin with

Hey there @JClouser. I'm excited to see you in the Forums and I'm also glad to hear that this got you  back on track! 😄

There are several factors that could cause this so it would be hard to tell the exact reason. The good thing is that your tracker seems to be working again!

If you ever need further assistance, let me know, I'll be happy to help! 🙂
