Hi,
Last night I charged my Blaze.
When I took it off charge it shows nothing on the screen.
I have tried every combination of buttons to power on and nothing happens.
When I put it back in its cradle there is nothing displayed on the screen.
Fitbit app says it is looking for the device.
Any ideas?

I had my fitbit blaze on and the battery was low. I put on the charger and normally, there will be an icon on the face showing that the blaze is charging. That did not happen, there are green lights flashing on the back, however after being on the charger an hour, nothing. I tried restarting by pressing the left and bottom right buttons and nothing. I plugged into my computer instead of the wall and still nothing. Help please.

When you say the battery was low, how low was it @Mamatess58?
If it went dead for hours it might take a few hours to charge. Are you using your phones charger?

What you place this thing back on the charger, is there a way to tell if its actually charging? Also I assume you restart it then put it immediately on the charger.

@rumpole6 it's great to welcome you.
Regarding your inquiry, at the moment of placing the Blaze into the cradle, it will display a battery icon (see attachment), for you to know that it is charging.
And no, it will not restart at the moment of being in the cradle. If you want to restart your Blaze, follow the instructions provided in this post.
Let me know if you need anything else.

I took my blaze off to charge last night and put it on the charger and it froze on the battery screen and didn't charge. I read how to shutdown and restart and tried this several times. Finally after several attempts it did restart with the fitbit home screen but then went to a blue color screen and now nothing?!? Any suggestions? I love this fitbit!

Having this issue. Last night it turned off while sleeping. Today nothing at all. Just a black screen.. got home from work and plugged into charger and it turned on and shows fully charged but when i take it out charger, it turns off and won’t turn back on untill I put back into charger. Basically, it won’t turn on unless in charger.. started this last night at about 4am according to the app... is my blaze broken? Havent done nothing. Worked fine when i went to bed last night, woke up to this this morning..

I had this exact same thing. I contacted Fitbit support and they asked me to video it for them which I did. There was nothing they could do so they offered to replace it but as I took out an extended warranty at the point of purchase I was able to get it replaced at the store.
Sad as to see that this is still an issue
with some people.

Well, my geek guys waranty is expired i believe.. so where that leave me? If i have to buy a new one ima be pissed considering I didn’t break anything.. Edit; just found my receipt. Thank god my moms a accountant and its rubbed off on me and i save receipts now, rofl... i have a 2year wearable 2 year product replacement at best buy! So ifnits really broken, guess I’m going BB this weekend. Dam man, what am I supposed to do rest of week without my Blaze??? *Cries... if i leave it on charger, think itl fix it? The reset doesn’t work as it won’t even turn on..
Just wanted to add, my Blaze was bought 6/16/17. Verry well taken care of. Even got a special wrist band for extra protection. So for it to just ‘poof’, this soon? And it being an apparently known issue aswell? Pshhh....

For me, you needed to get it back in the cradle as soon as possible after the reset ie while the screen is lit. it should start to charge.

24 hours abouts on the charger. Still not working. Even did the shutdown while in charger. Rebooted back on and still not working. So guess my Blaze IS BROKEN. Just nice Fitbit. Not even a year old and everything and poof..... Anyone else gets this issue, it means your fitbits broken so don’t even bother and just get it replaced i guess. Also, i found it hilarious that of all the watchbands I got, the fitbit brand one that came with the watch, is the first to break also, and to add even more insult to this huge injury, its the one I wear the least amount of all my bands. Is fitbit brand just made to break or what?!?!!! #DisappointedHugely..
