If you are having problems updating your tracker, I recommend verifying that the device that you are using is a Compatible Mobile Device. Then Restart your Blaze and follow the Update Procedure one more time from your iOS Fitbit app by following @SunsetRunner's instructions.

I am also having this issue.
I press the pink banner that says "Update Tracker" and it flashes grey but nothing happens.
I have the latest version of the iOS app, I performed a hard reset on my iPhone 6 Plus, I restarted the FitBit Blaze tracker. I still have this issue.
iOS app says my version is 8.104.1
Blaze tracker says my version is 17.8.104.1
