Hi. I've just got a Fitbit blaze and have tired setting it up. The app set up fine and seems to have paired with it fine even though I have problems with it recognising the 4 digit code. I charged it and although there was no battery sign on the Fitbit, the app does now say it is fully charged. The problem is that the screen on the Fitbit doesn't go past the icon with fitbit.com/setup underneath. I've tried pressing the left and bottom right buttons that I see others suggest and have tried turning my phone off and on again and turning the bluetooth off and on but nothing seems to work. Please help!

Hi there @SunsetRunner Welcome to the Fitbit Community Forums! 🙂
It sounds like your tracker has already been paired but it didn't go all the way through. Whenever you try to restart it by pressing the left and lower right buttons, what happens? Does it even vibrate or show anything on the display?
You could try to set up your tracker as a new device again and see if this time it goes through. For this, go to the Account section at the top right corner on the Fitbit app and select the option that says "Set up a new device". Follow the on-screen instructions and once you're done, your tracker should be syncing without a problem.
Let me know if you need more help with this!

Hi, thanks for the reply.
When I hold down the buttons to restart it it doesn't do much. After about 10 seconds it flashes and just shows the icon.
I've just tried doing the firmware update as someone suggested it was because that is showing as needing to be done and when I try it fails because it says there's no Bluetooth connection. I have tried to redo the bluetooth but although the app seems to recognise the Fitbit and what it is, the bluetooth bit says pairing rejected by Fitbit. I'm so confused!

It says pairing rejected by Fitbit because your trying to pair the device through the phones Bluetooth screen. Fitbit trackers will not pair this way.
Make sure the blaze is not a trusted device in your phones bkuetooth
Restart the blaze. Restart, or better yet shutdown, the phone. And turn on phone.
Check both the phone system and the Fitbit app for updates. If there is restart phone.
I'm not sure which phone but in android it may help to clear out of memory unneeded for now apps.
Also if you been using WiFi try cellular to connect to the Internet.

Hi I've done all of this and it's still not working. It seems to partly pair as it recognises the Fitbit is there but always says the 4 digit code is wrong even though it isn't. It won't let me do the firmware update, it fails when I try. I have tried everything suggested. I previously had a Fitbit charge HR (which I have completely removed from the phone) and it worked with this so not sure what I'm doing wrong!
