I have a Blaze my wife a Charge 2 we usually do early morning power walks before she goes to work. We've noticed say on a 5 mile walk a descrepency of up to a mile recorded on both units. My wife's Charge 2 always records a lower distance compared to my Blaze despite us walking together on the same route, same pace and same distance.
Cheers

They will never match. Your strides are different.
But make sure both of your strides are set correctly

Thanks for your reply Wendy😊
Going thru at app on both our iPhones our strides have been set automatically.
At 5ft 6 tall my wife possibly takes more steps than me (I'm 6ft tall)
In reality it makes no difference as my wife and I both know we walked to same distance together 😊

I've ran the Runtastic app alongside the Fitbit app on my 6S and give or take a few hundred feet the results are almost the same.

Letting it decide the stride should br vlose, but Fitbit figures the user is sn sveragr perdon. Guess what. At best there is only one average person of each gender. The math also doesnt take into consider things like nationality.

Average works for me as there's nothing special about me😎
I was just intrigued I don't think any of these wearables or apps claim 100% accuracy.
Somewhere in the ballpark is good enough for me😎
