Blaze and App wont change timezone

My Blaze wont change timezone to London GMT after a business trip to Oslo.  In the past it has always done so without fail. I have tried manually changing the timezone in the iphone app that sync with my blaze, but after i change the timezone it flips back to Oslo timezone! I then flkck the switch to auto and it updates to London timezone [which, my phone is set to] , but then flips back to Oslo time! I have tried to update the timezone in my profile on the web site,  but when i update the timezone and try to save i get a message "error trying to save profile"

I have closed the app and restarted the iphone and nothing changes. All very unsatisfactory when i cannot even use the Blaze as a conventional watch!

I came to the forum to say the same!

I just got back from Bali after a 10 day trip there from Auckland, it automatically updated when I got there, but since I got back it have been stuck on Bali time (Asia, Makassar, 5 hours difference for me).

It doesn't help to; manually set the time zone. resetting the time zone automatic button (even though Auckland comes up and gives me hope for 1 second before it goes back), restarting the watch, restarting the phone, restarting the app, reinstalling the app, resetting the time zone on my phone, updating on the website, nor throwing my useless watch on the ground and jumping on it (okay, joking on the last one there).

Mines is doing the Same, been in Singapore from London for over a day now and it's doing exactly what you guys are saying. I posted the same thing this morning

Hi TurboK, those symptoms are identical to mine. Highly annoying when this automatic time zone changing has worked well for the 9 months I have had a Blaze. I travel a lot around the world so it's been pretty well tested by my schedule!

Hi all,

I had a similar problem which got very frustrating.

I uninstalled the Fitbit app and reinstalled.Once this was done, go to advanced settings and into Time Zone and set to Auto Off and (GMT) Universal/UTC.

I then took out of the charge dock and inserted it back into the strap and then re-synced the Blaze to my account (the process of entering the 4 digits etc). This then seemed to sync correctly and put everything back on the phone as I wanted it.

Hope this helps.

Really... I'm on a holiday.... Why do we need to spend so much time on trying to get these devices to work properly.  Getting frustrated.   Just want my Blaze to work.... Not spend 2 hours trying when I could be outside on the beach......
