Hi!
My partner has a Blaze and has been enjoying it for almost a year now. I finally bit the bullet today and decided to get one too.
I normally research things a fair bit before making a purchase like this, but due to the positive experiences my partner had, I thought I'd just go for it (plus there was an excellent deal on).
I got home, got it all set up on my phone etc, and then discovered that my phone, the Oppo F1s, isn't on the supported phone list. After playing around a bit, this means that it looks like I won't get notifications or be able to control my music via the Blaze. Now I did check at the shop (via a Google search) whether the music player I use, Google Play, would work, and it said it would. Alas, there was nothing about the phone itself causing issues.
To top it all off, my partner's phone is almost dead, and she has just got an Oppo A57, which is also unsupported.
From a few searches it seems that the supported phone lists are updated every now and then, but it doesn't seem to be that regular, and I'm guessing most of the support goes to newer products. Should I hold my breath in the hopes that an update will be made so we can both maximise the functionality of the Blaze, or is this a case of not enough research before a purchase, and that's it?
Alternatively, if anyone knows of any magic that will get things working on the phones, that would be awesome too!

A warm welcome to the Community @hamonrye. Keep in mind that in order to properly connect your Blaze with your phone, it needs to be a compatible mobile device as mentioned. You can always sync your tracker with a computer or a device that is compatible.
Regarding the music control feature, I don't guarantee it will 100% but you can always try the instructions provided in this post.
Let me know how it goes.

Thanks for the reply 🙂
Luckily it is only the notifications and music player that don't work, the phone still syncs properly to the Blaze.
I'll have a bit more of a play with the options that the link suggested, but so far no luck. There is also a software update for my phone which I'm hoping may help as well.

How did you get your blaze to receive text and calls from Blaze? I don't care about playing music as i just want notifications

If I remember rightly. What I did was hooked it up through the Bluetooth classic setting. Go onto your blaze-settings-turn on Bluetooth classic-contect your oppo to it.
Hope that works
