Blaze app notification settings - can't opt out after opting in

Short and sweet, I had my Blaze set up to receive and display notifications from my work e-mail app using the App Notifications section (my primary e-mail app in the settings is my personal GMail account/app). However, this app dynamically changes the notifications it shows, but Blaze/Fitbit thinks each change is a new notification, so the usual result of a night or weekend not caring about work is a ton of duplicate notifications clogging the Blaze notification list.

I want to simply remove this e-mail app from my app notifications list. However, I've unchecked it several times from the mobile app, and it keeps getting re-checked. There's no explicit "save changes" button on the screen, and when I remove it, exit the screen/app and then return, it is unchecked, but then a day or two later, there it is again. How do I get Fitbit to forget about this e-mail app, without uninstalling it (which may not even be possible as it's a system app on the phone)?

I am having a similar issue but with the check marks disappearing from apps I want to receive notifications from.  I will check them and get out of the app and go back to check to make sure everthing is set correctly and it is.  A day or two will pass and then all of a sudden I stop getting notifications from certain apps.  The odd thing is there are 2 or 3 apps that never have this problem and the check is always there. 

I would understand if the Fitbit app lost access to the application because I update the other application through the Google Play Store.  This is not the case and it's the same apps every time and I'm not updating them that often.

Ditto, same thing happens to me.  I check off certain apps or uncheck certain one in the list and everything is fine for a day or two but then later it reverts back, only happens to apps that I've added in since the first update.  Android LG G5.

I am still having this same issue 3 months later. Has anyone been able to correct this issue? I have an android (Droid Turbo 2) and the worst app notification is the google play store. Anytime an app updates in the middle of the night my fitbit is constantly buzzing. I have tried to uncheck it countless times and after about 24 hours it is rechecked (even without a phone or fitbit reboot).

I am also having the same issue.  I can't uncheck Outlook and it is driving me crazy.

For me I find that each time I restart my phone for something the app notification settings revert to how I set them on initial set up.  I had changed them since then but after a restart it goes back to my initial selections every time.  I haven't had it revert unless restarting the phone though.
