Blaze battery charge is going crazy

I have had my Blaze for two years now and I love it. I haven't had any problems. I'm a fitness professional so I use it multiple times a day. The past few weeks it has been dying repeatedly over very short periods of time. I put it on the charger and it will say it's almost all the way charged, even though it is in the red or totally dead. It will tell me it's fully charged/green. I put it on, and an hour or so later it's back to being almost dead again. What can been done to fix this? AmI doomed to buy another?

I’ve had the same problem. I’ve turned it off, cleaned the contacts with alcohol wipe. Nothing seems to help. Bought mine used from a friend so I’m not sure how old it is but it worked great for 7 months. Any ideas?

I'm having the same problem with my Blaze.  Have you tried charging it with your computer?  When plugged into my laptop the connection continually stops and starts (you can hear a chime when a USB connection is made and disconnected) but it never charges.  If I plug it into the wall it will eventually overheat but it will never charge.  This problem is also happening for all the new Fitbit Charge 3, so upgrading is not an option I'm considering.  I believe this may be a software/firmware problem rather than hardware failure, but IDK if the company will ever own up to it.
