I've owned my Blaze for a few months now. For the first time since I've owned it, the battery died completely before I could get it to a charger. I put it on the charging cradle this morning and rather than the usual "battery charging" indicator I get, it displayed the Fitbit logo.
It's now been on the charger for 2 hours and is still displaying the logo. I've taken it off and on the charger a few times and the logo never goes away. I have no idea if it's charging or not. Is this normal, or is there a problem?

Huh, that shouldn't be happening @HungryBunz.
Have you tried to restart it? You can do this by pressing the left and lower right buttons for 10-12 seconds. Once you do this, the tracker will restart and then put it in the charger and see if that makes any difference.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need more assistance with this. Welcome to the Community! 🙂

@FerdinandFitbit and @HungryBunz it surely could be happening. If the battery got so low that the Blaze turned completely off, when plugging it in it will then do a start-up cycle. the Fitbit logo is displayed during the boot up.
It is what would happen, durring a boot up, if a shutdown command was initiated.

I'm having the same issue, tried to reset, screen gets brighter for a second, blanks, comes back bright then dims slightly, nothing else happens. The heart rate leds don't come on either.

Thanks @Rich_Laue and @FerdinandFitbit. I did try rebooting before I posted to no avail, but then tried again after reading the comments. That time it did just what @tmechanic described. After a minute or less it displayed the battery indicator I'm used to seeing, then the clock.. At this point I had also disconnected it from my app. Not sure if that helped. It's all reconnected now and working just fine.
Thanks for your help!

Thanks.
Tried letting resetting it several times, ran the battery dry, recharged and tried resetting again, and I still only get the logo.

OK, just got off the phone with support, apparently my phone has a bunch of error messages and the think I overheated it or got it wet, so it's in an endless reboot cycle, I wasn't even wearing the thing when it failed. They're sending me a replacement, I hope this one lasts longer.

I just bought my fitbit blaze and was setting up. It said the fitbit needed to be charged. I plugged it in and all I see is the logo flashing. I have tried holding down the 2 left sided buttons to restart and it appears to have restarted but I still get the logo.

Your saying that Fitbit could not help you when you contacted them?
What did they ask you to try, suggest or offer?
02-06-2017 01:02
02-06-2017 01:02
They have asked to clean the part from where the battery charges with alcohol and brush carefully but it doesn't work

02-06-2017 01:15
Then your best option iscto get back to them with what you have tried, and v the oitcone.
