I'm jumping off the Fitbit bandwagon. My Blaze is the third Fitbit I've owned in a little more than 4 years. My Flex fell off my wrist due to a bad clasp. My Charge HR fell apart soon after the warranty expired. I was offered 25% off a new Fitbit and went with the Blaze.
The warranty on it expired in March and the battery no longer holds a charge. I have been offered 25% off a new Fitbit or 40% off an Ionic. Nope. I feel that I would have to be a special kind of stupid to spend even more money on a product that history tells me will fail soon after the warranty expires. Friends and family have each owned the same Garmin devices during the time I've owned 3 Fitbit. My daughter has owned her Garmin for 8 years, 8. During that time, I could own 6 or more Fitbit, making the company richer.
Clearly, that's their plan, design devices that will fail soon after the warranty expires and get the consumer to buy another one that will expire soon after warranty expires ... etc., etc., etc. Nope, I'm buying a Garmin and keeping my money. Clearly, Garmin knows how to manufacture a quality product.
Research on the issues reveals that the problems I've had with each of my Fitbit were known problems.
Bye bye Fitbit.

This wasn’t my post, however the response is what is recommended every time someone has complained about the battery’s inability to recharge. They don’t listen when you tell them you have done all their recommendations. And, by the time you have done all those things all that is left is a $200 watch that won’t keep time because the battery won’t hold a charge.
I cannot believe they have not done anything to improve the battery’s performance and keep selling the tracker as is despite all of the complaints. I think the only way they will “hear” all of the dissatisfied customers is when their pocket book takes a hit. Customers need to start putting complaints on social media.
