This happened suddenly. Losing patience. Tried everything highlighted on forums - no avail. Device is well and truly pissing me off and is less than 1 year old.

Advice appreciated ..

If the issue started after applying the latest firmware version (Blaze update), you are not alone as several users experience the problem.

We're all expecting a confirmation/fix from Fitbit as this is very annoying.

Cyberknight - yes it coincided with the latest update. How annoying. Thanks for responding.

Battery life is still under assessment in line with the instructions received from your support team (Rowilin Anna Mae J. and the Fitbit Team). The battery is indicating 100% on the app but on the tracker is around 70%. So far there is an improvement in battery life but the tracker is running with very few features.

Since I disabled the Activity Reminders, I got back to 5 to 6 days of battery life except for time where the charge lasted 2 days.

I have been actively tracking the possible cause (with the help of other members) and still cannot conclude that the Activity Reminders is the culprit. I will reactivate them soon. I also noticed something of interest recently that I monitor and will report if worthy.

I can for sure conclude that restarting does nothing and that the charge contacts are pristine.
